Director of MAS Consulting in Washington D.C. and General Director for Latin America

Fernando Gavilanes has recently been invited to bring his successful experience of more than 16 years in strategy and political communication to MAS Consulting Group's clients. As Managing Director for Latin America in Washington D.C., he leads the development and

implementation of the strategy and political communication for a wide range of clients.

His most recent experience has been as a political advisor to the President of the Republic of Ecuador. He was selected to create and lead the new Political Analysis Unit of the Presidency of Ecuador, after being part of the strategy team for the winning election campaign of the president in 2017. As part of his work, he directed the spot "7 Times Yes", which promoted the approval of a referendum on seven issues at the national level and was awarded internationally.

Member of the Latin American Association of Political Consultants (ALACOP), International Political Science Association (IPSA), American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) and the American Political Science Association (APSA). In addition to being a lawyer, Fernando holds a Master's degree in Political Communication and Strategic Governance from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
